Who are we?![]() World Apartments is a licensed property management company. We provide furnished accommodation on a short or long term basis. Every property is different and we cover a number of areas. We fill the gap between a real estate agent and a hotel style serviced apartment. We also manage unfurnished property when available. What length of stay is required?This varies from property to property. Most have a minimum 1 week stay however some are available nightly and others are available only on a lease of 3 months or more.What is the pricing structure?The advertised price of a property is usually the lowest possible rate that would be accepted based on a stay of 3 months or more. Rates vary depending on the length of a booking, season and availability. These rates are set by the owner of the property. It is much the same as booking an airline ticket in that price is reflective of demand. All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars only. All payments are processed in Australian Dollars. Please convert quoted rates into your currency. World Apartments is unable to advise on exchange rates. Up to date exchange rates can be found at www.xe.com How do we book?Bookings are now available online for stays up to 90 days in advance. World Apartments cannot confirm availability in advance of 90 days. Where booking online is not available simply click on the "Submit a quote" button to make an enquiry for that property.
Accepted Credit Cards![]() We accept Visa Mastercard, Diners & Amex. The following transaction charges apply: Visa/Mastercard - 2.2% Amex/Diners - 4.5% Why are credit card details required?Credit card details are required as a form of security, just like a hotel or car hire company. At check in you will be asked to provide your credit card. Am imprint will be taken for security. If you do not have a credit card you will be asked to provide a 6 week cash bond. Can I book online?World Apartments now offers an online booking facility. Apartments can now be booked up to 90 days in advance. How do we get to the apartments?World Apartments is able to offer airport transfers, please enquire for rates specific to the property you are interested in.How do we get in?Keys are collected from our office at 18/888 Bourke Street, Zetland. Check in is from 2pm. A duty manager's number is provided so you can contact the office on the day of your arrival. Please remember to bring your ID and credit card with you as this is required for key collection. An imprint of your credit card will be taken and held for security until keys have been returned and the apartment has been checked. Please note that in the absence of a credit card you will be asked to provide a 6 week cash bond. Under no circumstances will World Apartments hand keys over without a form of security being provided. How are the apartments set up? - What's included?Every apartment is different but there are a few things that can be expected: -The kitchen will have all the cutlery, crockery pots, pans and other utensils needed to cook at home. -The beds are made and ready. We use professional linen suppliers so linen is always clean and pressed. -A telephone line is available in most apartments and can be automatically made active by dialling the free call number provided. Broadband internet is also available through Fatfreefones. Please contact them prior to your arrival to organise your internet needs -World Apartments offer standard, corporate and family hampers for your stay. These include key essentials like tea, coffee, mineral water, bathroom amenities and useful starter items. -We also arrange airport transfers including standard & private shuttles which are cost effective for groups of 3 or more. Is Internet available in the apartments?![]() We recommend Fat Free Fones for broadband internet. They can deliver modems to the apartment upon your arrival. This is the best solution for guests without their own wireless account and built in modem. Are utilities included?Electricity, gas, water, telephone line rental and pay TV are included in the rate quoted unless otherwise agreed. Please note that not all apartments will have gas and/or pay TV.How are apartments serviced?Apartments can be serviced weekly for an additional charge. You do not need to be home as we provide cleaners with keys. A service includes both cleaning and change of linen and towels.What if something breaks down or doesn't work?If something isn’t working let us know straight away so that we can get it fixed as soon as possible.What is a departure cleaning fee?A departure cleaning fee is the cost of cleaning and fresh linen and towels. This is charged to every guest without exception. We add this on as an additional cost so that rates remain accurate and the costs are transparent.What do we do with keys/remotes when we leave?Every apartment has a welcome letter that typically advises guests to leave keys in the apartment. If unsure the best thing to do is to call the office on 02 9310 7750 or the after hours number on 0430 13 33 16 and check with someone. Keys should not be taken home with guests as charges will apply for keys not being returned in time.
